2.15 pm – 2.45pm: Fireside Chat: Mindset needed for women entrepreneurs to get funding…This chat is led by Investor and Product development expert, Katie McCann, who will interview a senior member of Pipeline Angels.

2.45 pm –3.15 pm: Fireside Chat: Mindset needed for social entrepreneurs to get Funding. TBD.

3.15-3.45 pm: Fireside Chat: How a startup CEO can acquire a Fundable Mindset. Someone who has built and run large cos will interview a senior Investor from Keiretsu Forum& Harvard Business Angels.

3.45 –4.00 pm: Coffee Break

4 –4.30 pm: How to build fundable Products through Design Thinking. Leading Thought Leader who is a Mentor with Stanford, Draper, MIT and other Universities and Institutions will interview someone who runs large IOT & Blockchain portfolio for large co and has been part of an IPO previously.

4.30-4.45 pm: How startups can get traction with Silicon Valley Media and raise crowdfunding. Emmy Award Winning former Journalist turned PR person will make a presentation about her experiences in helping startups and philanthropic causes get traction with Silicon Valley Media.

4.45—5 pm: How startups can get corporate customers and access non-traditional sources of funding& mentorship. Presentation by Gerry Baranano, Founder of Tech Futures Group.

5 -5.30 pm: Mindset needed to network with Silicon Valley Investors and Mentors –Interactive Presentation by KC Wisdom titled “7 Rules for Connecting with Wisdom”. We may have a Closing Keynote from a prominent investor/entrepreneur in this slot.

5.30-6 pm: Networking.

KC Wisdom: Kaustav Chaudhuri (KC) is  an author, speaker, advisor, and  thought leader. He is the founder of Pitch Globally, with chapters in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and London. KC has a vast and profound knowledge of the ecosystem  of startups. He has built a colossal  network of key people that spans the entire value chain of startups in the heart of Silicon Valley.

KC was part of a team of Silicon Valley experts who wrote “The First Mile” (John Wiley), a book on entrepreneurship commissioned by TIE, largest organization of entrepreneurs in the world. He is also the author of “Design Your Mindset”  which is in the editing stage. Prior to the world of startups, he worked for large multinational  companies  like HCL Technologies, TCG Software ( outsourcing arm of PE& VC Fund affiliated to George Soros) etc. KC is also a long term Executive Committee Member of the Leukemia& Lymphoma Society.

Currently he focusing on expanding Pitch Globally's training program and strengthening Pitch Globally’s online presence to  intensify bootcamp style training program, to streamline the seed/early stage investment process in a more organised manner.

Victoria Sanchez DeAlba: Victoria Sanchez De Alba is president and owner of De Alba Communications, a well-respected multicultural and mainstream PR/media relations consultancy firm. Her agency provides communications consultation to a wide range of industries and service areas, raising public awareness through strategic media outreach and digital marketing.  She worked at The Terpin Group, a leading high-tech PR firm in San Francisco managingstartup companies and delivering substantial media results. Sharon Y. Sim: Sharon Sim is founder and president of SKC Inc., a public relations and digital marketing agency. Currently based in Los Angeles, Sharon worked for more than a decade in Silicon Valley. In SV, she worked at the startup division of WeberShandwick, the world’s largest PR firm, and later founded her first agency Panache, which was acquired by GolinHarris (a top 10 PR firm). She then became head of GolinHarris’ San Francisco office and its Asian Practice. Sharon also worked at Shipley & Associates, a political consultancy, and is a former producer/journalist. She has a Masters in Professional Writing from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Journalism, Public Relations (Honors) from the University of Texas at Austin. www.skc-pr.com

Axel Tillmann: Axel Tillmann, is the Managing Partner at Alpha-Consult, a going to market and businessstrategy consulting firm as well as a Senior Principle in Tranzishen, a design:innovation agency.With his engagements he focuses on moving business and society to a new + smarter future. Beit transitioning to a new market, brand, strategy, or partnership, Mr. Tillmann helps clientsdesign understandable plans, and innovate meaningful solutions.Mr. Tillmann brings close to three decades of leadership experience to the table, havingdirected numerous startups to and through successful exits, which also allowed him to gain awealth of experience dealing with publicly held firms. Known as a serial entrepreneur, Mr.Tillmann is a well-known, well-connected expert involving start-ups, entrepreneurship andenterprise endorsement.In the last 5 years Mr. Tillmann consulted with 100s of firms from a wide range of technologyand industry sectors (Communication, Internet Security, IoT, Travel Industry, Life Sciences,Renewable Energy and Green Technologies). At NOVILIT, Mr. Tillmann oversaw and successfully ran the funding, market strategyall product development and R&D for the firm.An accomplished speaker and author well known for his technical expertise, Mr. Tillmannadvises numerous industry organizations and served as Chairman of the Board of Alion Energy,Chairman of the Board of Appnow, past Member of the BoD of SMI (before recent $300MM&A), and is in the BoA of more than 10 other companies. He holds degrees in Bachelor ofScience in EE from the University of Wuppertal in Germany and a Bachelor of Science in BAfrom Luebeck.

Don Clark: Don Clark has written about the technology sector for nearly four decades, including 23 years at the Wall Street Journal and most recently as a freelance contributor to the New York Times. His reporting covered the rise of the computer chip, the personal computer, the Internet, smartphones and cloud computing, putting him in regular contact with the best-known business leaders of Silicon Valley. His career included six years at the St. Paul Pioneer Press and seven years at the San Francisco Chronicle before joining the Wall Street Journal, where he both wrote and edited stores about the technology sector. He was raised in Pasadena, Calif., and received a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Minnesota and a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of California at Los Angeles.
